There are no Bible verses about or that mentions Valentine's day. But there are Bible verses about love, romance and marriage. These Bible verses we are sharing are about the love of God and Jesus as Valentine's day celebrate love.

We love because God first loved us.

So Jacob worked seven years for Rachel. But it only seemed like a few days, he loved her so much.

For love is supreme and must flow through each of these virtues. Love becomes the mark of true maturity.

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church. He even agreed to die on its behalf.

A husband also must love his wife. He must love her just as he loves himself. And a wife must respect her husband.

My dear children, let’s not just talk about love; let’s practice real love.

But God's Spirit causes us to live in a different way. We love other people. We are happy and we have peace in our minds. We are patient, kind and good. People can trust us to do what is right.

Hatred causes fights. But love forgives all wrongs.
Proverbs 10:12 NDB

True love is God’s love for us, not our love for God. He sent his Son as the way to take away our sins.
1 John 4:10 ERV

Enjoy life with the spouse you love Each and every day of your troublesome life. Each day is God’s gift.
Ecclesiastes 9:9 NDB

For God loved the whole world by giving his only Son as a gift. That everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life.
John 3:16 NDB

Love is more important than anything else. It is what ties everything completely together.

Love is patient and kind, never jealous, boastful, proud, or rude. Love isn't selfish or quick tempered. It doesn't keep a record of wrongs that others do. Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil. Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting. Love never fails! Everyone who prophesies will stop, and unknown languages will no longer be spoken. All that we know will be forgotten. 1 Corinthians 13:4‭-‬8 CEV

Until then, there are three things that remain: faith, hope, and love—yet love surpasses them all. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run.
